The book, about the loss of Amanda's husband, Broadway star Nick Cordero to complications arising from COVID-19, is without a doubt, one of the most heartbreaking yet beautifully impactful and moving books of our time. And yes, it's going to be turned into a movie.

Amanda and her sister, author and entrepreneur Anna Kloots, who penned the book together and are now writing the script, shared news of their feature film project on Instagram:

"I always knew one day I would write books, but I never imagined I would one day be working on a screenplay," Anna shares.

"Adapting the book we wrote into a screenplay with my sister and best friend of course is immensely special and I am so excited to be a part of this project."

In a separate post, they shared a collection of home videos of Amanda, Anna and their loved ones set to Bill Withers' song "Lean On Me."

Denise Di Novi and Margaret French Isaac of Di Novi Pictures who have teamed up with the sisters to create the movie tell Deadline in a statement: "Live Your Life is a powerful love story set against a devastating period in our lives. It's about love, faith, community and resiliency and we feel honoured that Amanda and Anna wanted to collaborate with us to tell Amanda's deeply personal story."

No other details about casting or production have been released yet.
