Well, if you're not already ridiculously excited about the upcoming Barbie movie starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, surely these character posters will nudge you in the right direction!

The drop from Warner Bros. and LuckyChap Entertainment has revealed a much bigger cast of stars than we'd previously known including Emma Mackey and Nicola Coughlan from Netflix's Sex Education, Hollywood legend Helen Mirren as narrator, superstar Dua Lipa as a mermaid and more! Plus we've now learned who the Barbies, Kens and humans are.

The film, which is directed by the brilliant Greta Gerwig and co-written by her too, will be released on July 21.

So what's Barbie about exactly? Well, according to a release from Warner Bros., this is going to be a journey of self-discovery. You see, Barbie experiences an existential crisis and decided to leave Barbieland, a visually perfect and uplifting world, lead by women, to go to the real world, where the patriarchy rules. Along the way, Barbie learns more about herself, the world, and even old mate Ken.
