Where will The White Lotus Season 3 take place?
The series, created by Mike White, will be set in Thailand this time, with production underway in Koh Samui, Phuket and Bangkok.
“We are pleased to partner with the Tourism Authority of Thailand to execute Mike’s creative vision and showcase allthat the beautiful country of Thailand has to offer, as the next group of guests check in to The White Lotus,” HBO & Max’s EVP of Production janet Graham Barba said in a release earlier this year.
The Tourism Authority’s Thapanee Kiatphaibool added that the country is honoured to be involved and to be given the opportunity to showcase “the kingdom’s exotic natural beauty, rich historical sites and diverse landscapes.”
The last two seasons were set in Hawaii and Italy.
What is the plot of The White Lotus Season 3?
Much like the characters, the plot is being kept tightly under wraps too so we don’t know anything yet – except that in a post-season 2 interview on HBO, Mike White did share this little tidbit:
“The first season kind of highlighted money, and then the second season is sex and I think the third season, it would be a satirical and funny look at death, and eastern religion and spirituality.”
When Will The White Lotus Season 3 be released?
There is no release date set just yet, so stay tuned!
