Apple TV's hit drama 'The Morning Show' (or 'Morning Wars' in Australia) is ending after its fifth season.
The Morning Show, Apple TV's popular newsroom drama which helped launched the streaming platform back in 2019, is officially coming to an end.
The streamer is promising us a "star-studded" season 5 when it's released next year. The series is already stacked with talent - Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon will return as leads Alex Levy and Bradley Jackson alongside Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Karen Pittman, Nicole Beharie and Jon Hamm.
Jeff Daniels, Reneé Rapp, Jesse Williams, Sean Hayes and Lizzy Caplan are also joining the show.
In a press release, Jennifer Aniston said, "It’s been such a privilege to work with this insanely talented cast, and our extraordinary writers, producers, and crew. We’ve become such a family and we’re all so excited to share this final season. And going in knowing it would be our last, we were so fortunate to craft the conclusion with intentionality, and honour these characters the way they deserve.”

And Reese Witherspoon said, "This was always more than a show about a newsroom — it was a show about why the newsroom matters. About freedom of the press, and the journalists who protect the fourth estate, often at great cost. Telling that story has been the creative privilege of my career.”
Since its release, The Morning Show has received multiple award nominations and earned several wins too including the Outstanding Supporting Actor Emmy for Billy Crudup's performance as Cory Ellison in season 3, and the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor Award for Jennifer Aniston.
