Britney Spears' return to the music world has been confirmed!

The superstar is teaming up with music icon Sir Elton John for a duet of the 1972 classic 'Tiny Dancer.'

Sir Elton confirmed the news in a post on Instagram, simply sharing a photo of the new song title, 'Hold Me Closer' as well as two emojis - a rose, in reference to Britney and a rocket, in reference to Mr "Rocketman" himself.

No other details have been released at this stage but Sir Elton did share a link where you can pre-save the song.

This duet will mark Britney's first music release since her 2016 album Glory - and the first since being freed from a 13-year conservatorship.
