Miley Cyrus has made history as the youngest person ever to be named a Disney Legend!
The 31-year-old Grammy-winning superstar and Hannah Montana alum was honoured at the D23 event in Anaheim, California alongside fellow "Legends" Harrison Ford, Angela Bassett and eleven others.
But what is a Disney Legend exactly? Well, it's kind of like a Hall of Famer - a prestigious award given to individuals who've had a significant impact on Disney's legacy. And anyone who grew up with Hannah Montana would know just how much of an impact Miley has had.
Taking to the stage, she teared up while accepting the honour:
"I'm going to let everybody in on a little Disney Legends secret. Legends get scared too. I'm scared right now. But the difference is, we do it anyway and all of you can do that every single day."
She continued, "it's legendary to be afraid and do it anyway. There is no such thing as failure when you try. That's the only way you lose. The way you win is - try!"

Miley went on to express how proud she is to have brought Hannah Montana to life. "This award is dedicated to Hannah and all of her amazing, loyal fans. And to everyone who has made my dream a reality."
She ended her speech referencing a certain Hannah Montana song - "To quote the legend herself, 'This is the life!'"
According to Disney, Miley auditioned for Hannah Montana when she was 13. The series first aired in March 2006 and drew 4.4million viewers per episode!
She has since gone on to have a successful music career, with her last album Endless Summer Vacation released in 2023. This year, she won Record of the Year for her song "Flowers" at the Grammys as well as Best Pop Solo Performance.
In addition to Miley, Harrison Ford and Angela Bassett, the evening's other honourees included filmmaker James Cameron, actor Jamie Lee Curtis, costume designer Colleen Atwood, Marvel comic artist Steve Ditko, talk show host Kelly Ripa, Disney Parks cast member Martha Blanding, director James L. Brooks, animator Mark Henn, puppeteer Frank Oz, imagineer Joe Rohde and composer John Williams.
Previous Disney Legends include Oprah Winfrey, Betty White and Stan Lee.
