Naomi Campbell Celebrates Strong Women Who Raised Her After Receiving Honorary Doctorate

A day after walking the Balenciaga runway in Paris, the supermodel, entrepreneur and philanthropist has received an honorary doctorate from the University for the Creative Arts in London, recognising her decades of achievement and contributions to the global fashion industry.

While speaking on stage, a teary Naomi celebrated the "very strong women" who raised her including her mother Valerie Morris, who attended the ceremony, as well as her aunties and grandmother, saying they taught her to "never give up."

"Never let anyone change the way you feel, change the course of what you and your vision and what you want for yourself."

She also highlighted the "three Ds" she lives by: "Dedication. Determination. Drive."

Outside the ceremony, Naomi celebrated by throwing her graduation cap in the air.
