We know Belly, Conrad, Jeremiah and the gang from Cousins Beach will be heading back to our screens for a third season, but when? Here's everything we know about TSITP 3, including release date, cast and more:
Prime Video announced in August last year that it has green-lit The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3, the hit series starring Lola Tung, Christopher Briney and Gavin Casalegno. And it's no surprise really...
The multi-generational drama has captivated audiences around the world exploring first love, heartbreak, female friendships and mother-child bonds. According to Prime Video, Season 2 is one of the 10 most watched seasons of any series ever on the platform!
"So excited to finally share that we’re coming back to Cousins for Season 3," author and showrunner Jenny Han, shared on Instagram, along with a photo of a smiling Lola Tung.
"It’s been hard not being able to work on the show because of the ongoing strikes, but we can’t wait to get going on Season 3 as soon as we’re able."
The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3 was officially given the go-ahead before the Writers Guild of America and SAG-AFTRA strikes. However production was delayed until after negotiations resolved, and yes, that means the release date has been delayed too.
On May 14, 2024 Amazon MGM Studio's Jennifer Salke along with Jenny Han announced that the season will premiere in the summer of 2025. So a bit of a wait, but the good news is this third season sill be a longer one with 11 new episodes.

"Jenny Han is a gifted storyteller, whose fans have been clamouring for the third chapter of this story."
The first and second seasons of The Summer I Turned Pretty are currently streaming on Prime Video.
