The 63rd Annual Grammy Awards were held in Los Angeles today and it was all about the women. Ok maybe a little about Harry Styles and his purple feather boa.

But mostly about the women. The talented, record-breaking, history-making women.

Let's start with Beyoncé who brought her overall lifetime Grammy tally to 28 after winning four awards, making her the most decorated female Grammy winner ever. She's now equalling the number of Grammys won by legendary producer Quincy Jones.

Then there's her mini-me, Blue Ivy Carter who scored Best Music Video for "Brown Skin Girl" (won with mummy Bey and Wiz Kid) marking her first Grammy win at just 9-years-old!

There's Megan Thee Stallion who took home the award for Best New Artist - the first female rapper to win this category since Lauryn Hill in 1999! She also won Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance for "Savage" with Beyoncé.

And Billie Eilish who took Record of the Year for "Everything I Wanted" then got up on stage praising Grammy-winning Megan Thee Stallion for her talent, telling her in front of the world, "You deserve this."

There's Taylor Swift who also made history after winning her third Album of the Year award - the only woman to do so - this time for "Folklore."

And Tiffany Haddish who won the Best Comedy Album, something that hasn't been won by a woman of colour since 1985 when Whoopi Goldberg took home the gong.

There's Dua Lipa who won Best Pop Album for "Future Nostalgia."

There's Miranda Lambert who accepted the Best Country Album for "Wildcard."

And there's H.E.R who won Song of the Year for her Black Lives Matter anthem, "I Can't Breathe".

"We wrote this song over FaceTime and I didn't imagine that my fear and that my pain would turn into impact, and that it would possibly turn into change."

Sure, there were a handful of men who were also recognised for their talent - hello Harry Styles, Bad Bunny, Anderson Paak, Finneas, Jacob Collier and Kay Tranada.

But let's face it. The women killed it this year, and they deserve to be celebrated!
