Shirley Raines, the beautiful human behind nonprofit Beauty 2 The Streetz which provides makeovers and clean clothing to homeless women on Skid Row has recently had a helping hand from superstar Lizzo.
According to a short clip posted by Ms Raines on Twitter, Lizzo and her team have cleaned out Lizzo's closet, generously donating boxes and boxes of clothing:
"We are super excited, these are so cute. And let me tell you, we have had such a need for plus-sized tops. This is a blessing," she says, adding in a later post that the donation "went straight to the homeless community of Skid Row."

Ms Raines, who originally founded the organisation after volunteering at a soup kitchen and kept it running through her own pockets, not only provides hair and makeup services for hundreds of unhoused women but also showers and meals for over 900 people each week.
The nonprofit which is slowly growing its volunteer base, relies heavily on donations to keep going, which is why Lizzo's donation means so much.

For perspective, Ms Raines explains in a recent tweet that it costs $22,000 a month to feed the 500 people who line up for food on Saturdays and the 400 on Tuesdays each week.
