YES, we're getting a book-to-film adaptation of Lauren Asher's best-selling novel, Throttled, and YES, Off Campus star Josh Heuston is playing the lead!
Deadline announced the news earlier this week and Josh confirmed it on his socials with the caption, "get in the car."
Hell yeah Josh, we're coming!
If you haven't read the book yet, Throttled follows the story of Noah Slade, a Formula 1 driver who has a forbidden romance with Maya Alatorre, the sister of his fiercest racing rival. No word yet on who will star alongside Josh in the film.
From modelling for Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Burberry, to playing bad boy Dusty Reid in the Heartbreak High remake, an illegitimate son of an Emperor in Dune: Prophecy, heart throb musician Justin Kohl in Off Campus and now landing the lead in the highly-anticipated adaptation of Throttled, it's been quite the rise to stardom for the 29-year-old Sri-Lankan-Aussie actor from Baulkham Hills in Western Sydney... and I have a feeling we'll be seeing lots more of him on our screens soon!
