Post Malone is showing his gratitude for the thousands of hospital staff who've been working on the frontlines of the pandemic in the U.S.

The Grammy-winning singer has joined forces with shoe brand Crocs and non-profit organisation Musicians on Call to donate 10,000 pairs of his Duet Max Clog II to workers in 70 hospitals.

In a post on Instagram, the charity explains: "As a special early #FrontlineValentines gift, we teamed up with @postmalone and @crocs to offer our hospital partners nationwide a gesture of gratitude with extra comfort! Caregivers and staff are receiving their very own pair of Post Malone's fifth #pmxcrocs collaboration as a thank you for their brave work on the frontline to keep our communities safe!"

The black and pink shoes which feature the letters "P" and "M" on the sides, were released last month and sold out within a day.

Post Malone also donated a pair of the same shoes to every student at his former high school in Texas before Christmas last year.

Grapevine High's principal Alex Finger posted a message on Twitter thanking Post Malone for his generous act:

"Thank you @Post Malone for always giving back to your community! Your fellow @Grapevine_HS Mustangs are so proud of your success!"
