It's difficult to comprehend what Vanessa Bryant must be going through right now.

She lost her husband, Kobe Bryant, and their 13-year-old daughter Gianna in a helicopter crash earlier this week and the whole world is talking about it. It's on every news channel, every radio station and it's trending all over social media.

But Vanessa is making sure no one forgets the other victims of the helicopter crash and their families who are grieving just like she is right now.

In a message posted to Instagram, Vanessa not only thanked the "millions of people who've shown support and love at this difficult time" but also announced a fund for the families of the seven people who died alongside her husband and daughter.

Expressing her condolences to the Altobelli, Zobayan, Chester and Mauser families, Vanessa says that she shares "in their grief intimately."

"To honor our Team Mamba family," she continues, "the Mamba Sports Foundation has set up the MambaOnThree Fund to help support the other families affected by this tragedy."

Vanessa is also encouraging fans to donate to the Mamba Sports Foundation, an organisation started by Kobe Bryant to help young people train and excel in sport.
